My neighbor came over to ask me about a bug bite she had. She actually was bitten yesterday but didn't know what bit her. She was fine yesterday, but today during the day her entire foot is swollen. I need to know what I might have on hand that I could give her to help her out. I have a select few herbs and wanted to help her but wasn't sure which path to take considering we don't know what bit her. I told her that if the swelling didn't go down by tomorrow that she might want to go to the doctor but I'm hoping to be able to give her something tonight to help.Any ideas?Caroline-- No virus found in this outgoing message.Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.Version: 7.0.338 / Virus Database: 267.10.9/72 - Release Date: 8/14/2005

I have castor oil...so I can do that...don't have any epsom salts but

might be able to convince her husband to go get some. The super

tonic...well...I gave some to her dad...and they all just heave at the

thought of taking it...lol...but will tell her to take it or have to go

to the doctor! lol

Thanks Suzi!

Yes, that was the first thing I looked for...I wanted to make sure it

was not a spider bite...there were no red lines...just swollen red

toes and front area of the foot. The back towards her heal is not

swollen at all...just the front portion of the foot. This is what

lead me to believe it was something that needed attention but nothing

to be overly concerned over. She asked if I thought she should go to

the emergency room and I told her that it didn't seem that way to me,

being that I didn't see the red lines on the foot. I did give her

some Rescue Remedy to try and calm her jitters a bit at least. Told

her I would find out what else to do and make sure I got her taken care of.

Thanks Suzi...I really appreciate it.
