Guest guest
Terri, Just from the description, it sounds like the yeast rash my ds used to get as a baby. We used lotrimin on it til it went away. (This is before we had a clue he was autistic or had gut issues.) >I noticed the other night that my little guy (7yo) is breaking out in red dots on his butt, they kind of look like little acne pimples, but not with pus showing or anything. I didn't see them anywhere else on his body. Is this mercury rash?
Guest guest
Yes, my son has had those yeasty bumps too that come and go with diet/probiotics. But the one set of bumps(about 8) he has on his rib cage are different and I know they aren't yeast. They have been there for years and seem at times not so prominent but they appear to be pimple bumps, grayish in color and slightly raised. I have been asking doctor's for years what it was and no one knows. Anyone have something similar?? I'm almost tempted to take a picture with the digital to send it out for an opinion. No inflammation either. Could it be metals? [ ] Re: Rash? Terri, Just from the description, it sounds like the yeast rash my ds used to get as a baby. We used lotrimin on it til it went away. Guest guest
Christi, His band needs to be adjusted, it's a good thing you took it off of him. Keep it off of him until it's adjusted, that could lead to a skin breakdown. Don't worry it's common to need an adjustment or a few in the beginning of treatment. I'm sure once it's adjusted this area won't be a problem again. --- In Plagiocephaly , " Cristi " <naive_angel@h...> wrote: > Treyton's helmet is off right now and has been since last night. Guest guest
You drinking alot of water?? What have you changed, soaps, detergents, etc? Any new clothing? sounds kind of like an allergy... try some vitamin e oil external and internal. Suzi Tone <tone102@...> wrote: Good Morning All, I pray this finds you all well on this lovely Thursday morning. I was truly reluctant to ask this ..... No dire emergency here but just curious. For about 2 weeks I have had a scaly, dry, itchy round area on my upper buttocks. Actually I felt the skin texture even before the itching started. It is dry so there is no oozing or anything like that. I am not concerned but it is annoying. This is the first time I have ever had such a thing. I have put various creams and oils but it just won't go away My elbows are similiar but do not itch all that much. I am thinking maybe this is some kind of psoriasis though I am not sure since I have never had it before. The rash on my upper buttocks is circular and is pretty even in the middle from cheek to cheek. As I said, I am not concerned but just curious as to what you think this may be and why something like this would suddenly come on. I always appreciate your thoughts and help. Guest guest
Hi Suzi, Hope you and the family are all well today. Yes, I am drinking water. No new detergents in the past two weeks that I can think of. Even if so, why would I just get a rash there? I would think that other parts of my body would be affected. This isn't the biggest of deals but is a lousy place to itch It is just below the tailbone and is a pretty big area not just a little coin sized one. As for vitamin E, I do take it internally. I will try external as well. Thanks so very much Have a wonderful day Toni

Guest guest
Does the rash go away within the hour break? It souns like heat rash. My son got it mostly in the side burn areas and sometimes on the back of his neck, but it always went away within 15 minutes of taking the band off, so I never treated it beyond letting it breath and dry out. But hydrocortizone cream can help. I would just double check with your ortho first before using it just to be safe. Hope it helps!
