Guest guest
For starters, anything SWEET will feed the fungus/candida. For sure to be avoided are sweeteners like the high fructose corn syrup!!! AND white sugar, AND fruit, AND high-carb vegetables, AND grains. Sorry!! So what CAN we eat? Raw low-carb veges OR very lightly steam them. Eat them with eggs, or meat, or fish. Cultured milk is OK IF all the lactose is used up. I culture mine myself to ensure that the product begins to separate into curds and whey. THEN I know all the lactose has been consumed by the probiotic organisms.. Cheese for me is prob OK again too--but I get mine raw, organic and Celtic-salted from Pennsylvania, guilt-free. (I do soil-borne organisms I get from Wil, his Lateroflora and 100+ Probiotics. Also the milk I culture myself has loads of healthy probiotics in it!) ..I do colloidal minerals. (I do MMS/AOT. ..I take some hcl with my proteins.. I take oh, 4/day of Green Vibrance super food capsules. Very few of those..) It would seem a boring diet BUT I vary the meats/fish/eggs * & * the way I cook them. I vary the spices and use a LOT of great, healthy for me spices. Olive oil and unsalted butter are OK. Heavy cream is safe and delicious too. I like coconut oil--make sure you get UNrefined so it has the anti-fungals + flavor.. I vary the veges and every meal is unique and delicious. MOST of all I love how I am getting a measure of my LIFE back, instead of feeling like I have the flu all the time, with awful brain fog and getting colds and fevers repeatedly! I LOVE that I don't have to be sick like that anymore, as long as I maintain the diet.. It is WORTH it to me to be healthier than I have been in a long time.. I hope this helps!! The best to everyone here!~LouisePS I think I disagree with here on the beer and wine. They are alcoholic, and alcohol turns to sugar. Sugar feeds candida. I have been told by a certified nutritionist (and my own hard-won experience): NO alcohol. Wow, I guess I have a LOT to learn, this is not what I've been told in the past. But then, I have been told that I am allergic to molds, so maybe that's why I get sicker when I eat anything with yeast in it ? I was told not to eat any yeast or anything that had been " aged " , such as beer, wine, cheese, salami, etc. And so I read every single label in the grocery store, and buy nothing that has yeast on the label. That's probably why I spend such a long time getting my shopping done.... What is the scoop on high fructose corn syrup ? If I eat anything with it, I spend weeks so weak that I can barely get through the day ? And finally, can someone PLEASE direct me to where I can go in the files to find a place to start trying to get this back under control ??? Thanks in advance.
