Guest guest
Hi , You, , and the beautiful babies have my most sincere sympathies. And, whew! What a family to be raising without the help of mama! We have had pet rats in my family. They are such a cute combination of dog and cat, imo. Guest guest
Oh , I'm so sorry... but what a legacy she left you and . Sometimes we don't know why but only that there was a reason (and hope that someday we'll figure that out)... I know you'll do good raising the dozen. And she is probably up there looking down at the wonderful job you're doing. Suzi <deuteronomy2929@...> wrote: We are mourning the passing of White Flower, a beloved pet rat. She, just two weeks ago, gave birth to 12 beautiful healthy babies. Last night, while we were holding her, she laid down, and started to convulse. Less than a minute later, she was gone. We buried her with a small ceremony. handled it well, but is still quietly crying to himself at times. I am now "mama". Feeding them with an eye dropper every two to four hours. Takes about a half hour to get them all fed. And they are starting on mild solid food as well. Suzi What is a weed? Guest guest
- White Flower will be in my prayers. She brought back memories of Milton, our white rat. End of summer, nobody wanted to take the rat home so my brother volunteered. My mom could have choked him! Milton turned out to be so much fun and helped mom and I get over our fear of rats (reading this Toni?). We would sneak into mom and dad's bedroom on Saturday morning and put him in the bed with dad. Milton loved to run down your legs and chew on your toenails! It tickled something fierce!! Alas, Miltie got cancer of the tail and my brother was only 7 or 8 at the time and he made the decision to relieve him of his suffering. We all moured for Milton just as you are mourning for White Flower. Thank you for sharing her with us and for helping me to remember Milton and what fun he was to have around. Guest guest
Hi , Because I don't have much family, my pet is always my family. I know what it is to mourn one. You and yours are in my prayers for comfort. I bet you make a good mama rat. Peace. > We are mourning the passing of White Flower, a beloved pet rat. > > __________________________________________________ >
