Guest guest
Kelp is supposed to help with radiation in that it is high in iodine. Recommended are slightly higher than usual amounts of it--but do *not* quote me on the dosage. Please check with your local naturo practitioner or health food store. Also Niacin is recommended at 50 mgs, and the yes, give yourself the FLUSH variety over the NO-Flush stuff which will NOT cleanse us of the radiation. So we are looking for " regular " Niacin, NOT NO-Flush type. You can get it at higher mg levels, but my daughter says even at 50 mgs it causes a red and itchy reaction (the flush, cleanse part) that is temporarily uncomfortable. Taking more than 50 mgs at a time will just increase the flush and make us MORE uncomfortable--but yes, flush and cleanse more. So take your pick what you want! :>) Also with this is the warning that Europeans have been given to not drink MILK, this particular to the very young and the elderly. I would also say this in connection for those with health issues. Japan's radiation is having global effects, as we all should know by now.. On that final note, IF we have enough kelp and niacin in us, the kelp helps to coat the thyroid and protect it; and the niacin helps flush the radiation OUT. So go for them! To your health! Continued blessings! ~Louise
