The passing of a loved pet

We are mourning the passing of White Flower, a beloved pet rat. She, just two weeks ago, gave birth to 12 beautiful healthy babies. Last night, while we were holding her, she laid down, and started to convulse. Less than a minute later, she was gone. We buried her with a small ceremony. handled it well, but is still quietly crying to himself at times. I am now "mama". Feeding them with an eye dropper every two to four hours. Takes about a half hour to get them all fed. And they are starting on mild solid food as well.

Anyway, good thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated.
