Guest guest
I'm sure we all have encountered, or heard of someone that encountered someone on line that was not who they represented themselves to be. Even on this list I believe it has happened, and will happen again. Peace, love, laughter SV <shavig@...> wrote: He, he, he. This really makes me laugh. I asked someone on another board, what her name was (off list). She was very insulted and wanted to know why that was so important to me. Being the smart ass I am, I said "well no names just smack of the '70s and my old doper friends". Her reply, (exact words) "do not ever contact me again. I can only imagine how you met those people and I know it wasn't on line (duh, I said the '70s). And if we are ever at a potluck together, do not talk to me (how can I avoid you if you don't tell me your name and I don't know what you look like!?) and do not approach me." That's EXACTLY what she said. Made me laugh til I cried. Talk about paranoia! Even when I went on to try and explain that was 30 years ago and I'm not into that any longer. Never heard from her again and I honestly don't know if I've ever been at a potluck with her. Would be a hoot if I was!! It would be especially funny if I brought my "joints". Sunflower pate rolled in nori rolls and dried. They are only about as big around as your little finger, brown, and the length of, well, a joint! Don't mind me. I'm just really tired and I think it's gotten to me! Good night all - Shari__________________________________________________
