Hi,

I am Carolyn. I tandem nurse my two kids, dtr 30 months (Mayté) and son 9

months (Camilo). I realized I had a yeast problem due to reigniting thrush for

Camilo. We have cut out all processed foods, gluten, soy, dairy and sugar

except occasional raw honey and low glycemic fruit. We are currently on an

elimination diet due to food intolerances. I am wondering if others have done a

strict candida diet while nursing? I am wondering if I need to cut out all

fruit and the raw honey and grains (we have been eating brown rice, millet,

quinoa and would like to do brown rice pasta). I cut out potato as it seemed to

cause son's oral thrush. I recently had a setback which is why I am wondering

what to cut out next. This is what we are eating: (we currently have a long

food avoid list due to allergies/intolerances)

Meats: grass fed beef, natural turkey

Eggs

Fish: wild salmon

Veggies: green beans, broccoli, spinach, kale, beets, sweet potato, yellow

zucchini, acorn or butternut squash.

Legumes: pinto, kidney, lentils, plan to add adzuki next week

Nuts: whole walnuts, plan to add brazil.

Grains: brown rice, millet, quinoa

Fruit: pears, blueberries, cherries

I want to resolve this asap but want to make sure we are not deficient as we

have been limiting since first of year.

Thanks for any advice on what foods to cut out and what to add in.

I want to make my own probiotics but don't still researching how.
