Guest guest
Joe gets that all the time and has me apply pressure to the point where it hurts. And I'm talking giving it my all. I can feel a muscle "lump" there and it is rather hard and gritty feeling under my fingers. I just push with all my might using my thumbs. And then he goes to the chiro and/or massage therapist. Guest guest
What if you rubbed Super Tonic on it to heat it up? Might loosen it up, I'm thinking. Shari

Papa has been going crazy with pain in his right back wing. The pain radiats to the front. He was spackling which I wanted to do but.... And he turned a certain way and that is when it happened. Any suggestions? This poor man's health has so rapidly declined that it is just a shame for him to have any additional pains. I don't have anything natural here but will go out and search for it if you can give me some advice. I appreciate it as always Suzi What is a weed? Guest guest
the heat massage oil in the files would be a good idea... even some nerve relaxing herbs would be a possibility. good luck Toni! Guest guest
Not sure without seeing the person (even then it's more of an edumedicated guess) but: -If the muscles are locked up tight and spasming LOBELIA is my number one choice. Best would be tincture internally and externally as a linament. It will help the muscles relax and as a good nervine will help the rest of him to relax too. -Most nervines will help ease his discomfort somewhat. CA POPPY is pretty good as a tincture for pain relieving nervineness. -Rub some pain relief oil or linament on externally. That could be a cayenne linament, willow or poplar oil or linament, or something more complex. ST JOHN'S WORT oil is MAGIC. -Check his medications to make sure there isn't a warning against combining them with aspirin. If okay then WILLOW BARK is widely available and I'ld give to him as a tea internally up to 3x/day but not for weeks on end. Capsules are available at the health food store also and the innerbark is free from a lot of ditches. MEADOWSWEET would work too. COTTONWOOD or POPLAR grows all over the country and that could be used instead if you can't find willow or meadowsweet. So that's what my approach would be. Dose him with lobelia (don't give him too much or he'll puke), about 20 minutes later as the muscles start to relax rub some cayenne linament in (opens up the pores), then a heavier duty pain oil like poplar, willow, or St.'s wort. Keep him dosed with a nervine tea 3x/day. Lots of different herbs could be used or substituted. Chris
Guest guest
I slept on my arm a few years back and could not use my left hand at all. It took 2 weeks for the nerve to grow back. The doctor said it's called saturday night palsey (I didn't like the name). I don't know if this could be the same thing or not. I hope it clears up for you. Terry > > I have had another set back over the past couple of days. My left arm just does not work. I can move it but can't lift it. Sometimes my whole arm will get tingly and the tip of my index finger on that hand is always tingly. I am used to losing strength and abilities but I never had this tingling. Could this be a pinched nerve that will improve on its own? Has anyone else experienced the tingling? > >
