This thinking scares me, plain and simple.

I never said that I felt tired and sluggish, I eat my carbs and have lots of

energy. I have enough energy to get up a 5:30 run 5 miles, nurse and take

care of a toddler. I felt sluggish before I became a vegan, I have more

energy now than I ever did. I was overweight and tired all of the time until

I changed my diet. We could argue this forever and never agree on anything,

I think that your way of eating is nuts and I am sure that you think the same

of mine. To some people the way that they eat is almost like a religion to

the ones that are trying to do it in a manner that they think is healthy, and

we all know that there is no point in arguing religion. There are " experts "

that say a vegetarian diet is best, there are " experts " that say a high

protein/low or no carbs is best, some believe in everything in moderation, it

is just what you feel works best for you and your body.

You became sluggish and tired because you ran out of blood sugar and could

If you have references to the " experts " on the vegetarian side (since

that is what you will know the best) I would love to read them.

Likewise, if someone else has links or references to " experts " on the

low carb side, I would be equally enthusiastic!! I am always

interested in diet studies.

Thanks :)

  • 3 years later...

I just wanted to take a moment for everyone and let you all know that the conversations the last few days, though they got a bit heated or testy... our members do respect each others viewpoints (when valid) and though conversations may heat up some... our members voice their opinions and their knowledge, they always respect each other....and there are no hard feelings between them... I have seen this many times over the year with this list - which is one of the reasons I love all of you on this list... and so many times, we all learn something new.

Just wanted to mention this as our new members may have wondered ...

Thank you all
