Guest guest
When I was young and had some problems... I took mega doses of brewers yeast and it cleared it right up. UDO oil is good for the skin in general. Diet plays a part in this alsoHave you always had this problem or just of recent? What is your diet like? Glad to be reading the posts regularly again! :-)I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good botanical/natural product line for adult acne skin care? I am heading off to see a dermatologist tomorrow, and I'm sure he will want to push pharmaceuticals on me. I'd like to have the name of a couple of natural products to run by him as we discuss my treatment.Suzi, I really enjoyed the post on acne that you just posted. Thanks!Rose
Guest guest
Always. I was clear for a few years after a round of accutane (I can't believe I actually took that!). Then not too bad when I was younger and on birth control pills. Now that Im in perimenopause, it is pretty bad again. If I eliminated all caffeine, it would certainly help. I am not a raw dieter, but eat quite healthfully. Lots of veggies, not much in the way of processed foods, good with exercise.Rose On Oct 10, 2005, at 11:11 AM, Suzanne wrote: When I was young and had some problems... Guest guest
A lotion with beta glucan in it would work wonders. Guest guest
Get yourself brewer's yeast (tablets) and start taking every day... Rose Baumann <rose@...> wrote: Always. Guest guest
I had quite a bit of experience with brewer's yeats. I tried many kinds before I found one that my body would utilize. If the first kind does not work well for you, try switching brands. Guest guest
When I first was taking it there was only powder.. (which works great but ruins the taste of everything you mix it with... lol.. if you can handle the powder it is the best, but not many I know can. I mean a teaspoon full on cereal or in juice... I still remember the taste.. that is why I said tablets. SuziGayla <goatclearing@...> wrote: I had quite a bit of experience with brewer's yeats. Guest guest
I watched a video taped lecture by a PT who did Lymphatic Drainage Massage. He claimed that the yeast molecule is too large to utilize and that yeast clogs the lymph system. He claimed it was a refuse by-product and the profit margin was extremely high. I have never heard this info anywhere else. But I had a cat who ate large amounts (it was her treat) and had lymph problems....don't know if it was a coincidence... Still...I refuse to give up nutritional yeast on my occasional popcorn!!! Probably like anything else....overdoing it is not a good idea...balance is best. Guest guest
Brewers yeast and nutritional yeast are two different things. As far as what I've read nutritional yeast is a "dead" yeast... if you read the process it goes thru..
