Guest guest
Just cause you would grind the food to a very small size does not make it digest any better and get into your blood. Digestion does not work like that anyway. You stomach need to ferment or break down the food stuff, you need sufficient microorganism population and diversity to continue the break down the food stuff and recognition of the food stuff before it can be transferred to the blood. When taking prednizone you are disrupting this whole process and your food actually becomes a toxin to you. You body will see your food as an enemy invading. I know prednizone keeps you from having the swelling and allergic reactions, but there has to be a major underlying issue to even have the hives to manifest. The allergic to everything situation is telling me you not only have a gut flora imbalance but you have some other issues in your GI tract and most likely candida is just one of them Wil Spencer VMSP, Naturopath > > Spent the evening in the ER as I cannot eat anything without breaking out in hives and angioedemas. This one was in my throat - not fun but happy to be back home. I am working with a nutritionist who had nothing to say today other than " you are allergic to everything right now so no I have no suggestions. " I have read a lot on leaky gut and it appears to let pieces of food out. I keep asking about something that will not be a piece of food - a smoothie, broth, something I can drink that will not have a digestion issue. She has no suggestions saying I would be allergic to those ingredients. That's semi-confusing to me since if nothing escapes into my bloodstream maybe that is worth a try - especially right now while I am taking all this prednisone anyhow? >
Guest guest
Thanks! I am really talking about a liquid diet at this point because I cannot eat anything without major flares and the not-breathing and throat swelling the other day was scary. The prednisone came months after the issue with the food started and unfortunately, while I did not want to take it at this point there is little choice. We are tapering down because I don't want it further contributing to yeast and leaky gut. I think my major issues are a lot of yeast overgrowth, leaky gut and the thing that started everything has in part been a huge increase in histamine that seemingly occurred after propofol was administered during surgery in October. The past week the NP and nutritionalist I think was moving along way too fast and caused so many die-off toxins that I could not process them. Added to the food intolerance, yeast and the like it just was the straw... > > Just cause you would grind the food to a very small size does not make > it digest any better and get into your blood. > > Digestion does not work like that anyway. Guest guest
What happened? do you have any idea why you are getting hives? What about chicken soup? we have had Three incidents with Hives in our home. I had hives, that lasted 6 weeks. Small polka dots. Then Dave had them, Big huge swellings. I never saw anyhing like that in my life. I can see now why they can shut up a throat? Is the prednisone giving you the hives?(or is that new to squash down the hives). Have you taken a medicine recently? i knew a lady who got hives from Sulfa) she then got prednisone in the Er. The hives went away. But the day she stopped the prednisone, they came back.Think back on any past medicines. I got them from sulfa drugs, dave got them from omiprozolie(heartburn). cindy > > Spent the evening in the ER as I cannot eat anything without breaking out in hives and angioedemas. Guest guest
Hi - I believe that I had a reaction to propofol. It caused a lot of after-surgery sneezing and runny nose that would not stop for days. I went through boxes of Kleenex. Propofol apparently increases the histamine in your body. The drugs I was taking at the time (coumadin, for example) are not well tolerated now either. I had this happen many years ago that my body just was really hyper after cefzil and it hated anything that was in my body when the cefzil causes the hyperactivity. The hives started small and then the angioedema started. At first I thought they were just bites or from the heat but they got worse in December. After my surgery I had to be on an antibiotic and I think the combination just made a mess. I know I have yeast issues so the last thing I wanted was the pred but that not breathing thing is a bit scary. Chicken has been one of the worst foods I can eat which is why I am now pondering a liquid diet of broths, ensure-like products if I can make one that does not have all the sugar and the like. > > What happened? do you have any idea why you are getting hives? Guest guest
Wow!!!! Thats some story! Well i believe you. I have a friend and she is a microbiologist, and she's one of those brainy people. She is onto the histamines and the mast cells. I was poisioned by sulfa antibiotics and have been thru hell the last 8 months. She's the only one who belives me. She was poisoned on celebrex, and i'm not kidding she can only eat three foods!Like you. All of a sudden, I became hyper sensitive to everything, any chemical, etc. Got a female yeast (?) and right now doing another dose of diflucan to see if i feel better. What a mess. I giggled about the bites, I looked at the dogs, checked the bed for bed bugs with a magnifying glass. I thought minges? Nope. Three rashes, hives, hives. i have candida, my boyfriend has all sorts of red blotches on his head. I feel like microbes, yeasts and bacterias are after me. ---
Guest guest
how funny - I thought I had bed bugs too but know I do not. It is sort of like serum sickness really. I have thrush now and got an rx for troches yesterday. Will I had horrid die-off rashes all over my body from that last nite. The info on it acts like a rash is a horrid side effect (and indeed it is with a lot of yeast) so I was freaking out til I thought about the fact that is being absorbed into my system - probably at a lot more of a rate than the nystatin though it is missing that first liver pass. Had to stop those there's no way I can do die-off that fast. At least I am getting better about identifying hives versus rashes and not freaking out as badly > > Wow!!!! Thats some story! Guest guest
The microbes are after you. It is just natures way to clean up. The fungus and opportunistic microbes eat dead, dying and damaged tissue. When you take pharmaceutical drugs or have procedures done in the hospital, your damaging your tissues in your body. The fungus and other microbes come in and eat or break down the tissue that has been killed or damaged to get it out of the way so the body can replace it. The problem is when you have an extreme amount of dead, dying or damaged tissue the microorganisms really ramp up the population to do their job and us, the human, is actually overwhelmed and the immune system begins to attack itself in an attempt to keep some kind of balance. With the information coming out of the new science saying 80% of our cells in our body are not human cells, they are microorganism cells, it is no wonder why you feel that way. We are so much part of nature that most of our body is comprised of microorganism from nature. I will have a video from Germany on my web site in a bit that explains this connection. This information is being withheld in this country, but it is getting out through channels like this. Wil Spencer VMSP, Naturopath www.bodyelectrician.com > > Wow!!!! Thats some story! Guest guest
OOOO, he scared me now. I think microbes are going to take out man Kind. They may get us before the next world war. All the pills the population takes, like Wil says. We're sitting ducks. Off to get a drop of GSE! Guest guest
Hey you should try good old fashioned calamine lotion on your welts. Do you have any? its old fashioned and pink. we were putting it all over our hives, and it does help. test it first to make sure your not allergic. I know you are probably allergic to alot right now. We are snowed in. cindy > > hanging in - I have hives from showering and also sleeping.
