All acid producing foods (acid ash foods) such as dairy, meat, processed foods, cooked foods, etc produce excess acid in the body. This makes the blood too acidic. When the blood is too acidic it takes calcium from the bones to help neutralize it. Year after year of eating improperly sets one up for brittle bones in a big way. Actually, osteoporosis is not a disease, it is a symptom only. A symptom of improper diet. -- Peace be with you, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
