Living fermented foods are excellent because they are full of good bacteria

(probiotics). The Body Ecology book is self-explanatory. A good investment.

The other books are talking about stuff like vinegar and alcohol. Food if

improperly combined will ferment in the digestive system too causing further

problems.

If your candida has gone into the leaky gut stage, then most likely you have a

sensitivity to yeasts. So you need to rebuild your bacteria using a successive

series of probiotics....certain kinds have certain purposes. If your dysbiosis

is severe, then adding uncontrolled " wild " yeasts may just add more problems to

your digestion and absorbtion of nutrients.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the group and trying to fight a yeast infection. I'm confused

because I've read in a couple of books to stay away from fermented foods, but I

know that the Body Ecology Diet is strong on ferments and is recommended for

fighting yeast. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks,
