Guest guest
Why did you start him on this supplement? Is he not being breast fed? In any case, there is probably a number of ingredients included in this supplement that he could be allergic to. From what I can find on their website it appears that it is made from just a bunch of isolated and synthetic substances, sourced from who knows where (many come from China). And who needs 2833% of your daily value of B12? Read labels, do some research (especially as to where the ingredients come from). Mostly I suggest whole food supplements that have a full array of " naturally occurring " vitamins/minerals/amino acids/chlorophyll/protein/etc/etc, that are grown/processed/produced in the U.S. Carol > > We started with Kirkman Spectrum complete supplement for our 20 month old Son. He gets a rash in an hour after taking it. Also his poop has foul/fermented smell after taking the supplement. Is he allergic to something in the supplement or is it due to Yeast? If its yeast, can it give rash within an hour or two.Any help is appreciated. Thanks. >
Guest guest
The supplement was actually given by his DAN doctor. He mentioned that Supplements from Kirkman labs are the best. We have stopped the supplements for now. The supplement has biotin and GSE. So could the rashes be yeast die-off? ________________________________ From: algaelady1 <carol@...> candidiasis Sent: Tue, January 11, 2011 9:07:18 AM Subject: Re: Rash after starting Supplement  Why did you start him on this supplement? Guest guest
Sounds like a digestion and allergy issue. If you are smelling foul poop, you are smelling improperly fermented food which sure can feed a fungus issue. Why may I ask are you putting him on the supplement to begin with? Guest guest
Wow - just my suggestion, but I would try to find a doctor who actually knows about autism, probably someone who knows about nutrition, instead of a doctor prescribing artificial supplements. Curious - did this manifest itself after vaccines?
