Guest guest
Dr. has 2 products used for cleaning the bowels. The best place I found to purchase it is at http://www.discountblvd.com. They are called Intestinal Corrective Formula #1 and #2. Holistic Horizons also makes products for cleansing (can also be purchased at discountblvd.). I have used the Intestinal Bulking agent with the Intestinal Cleansing formula. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Has he been tested for chronic Lyme Disease? I know some kids have been dx'd as autistic but instead are infected. and Steve wrote: >
Guest guest
Hi and Steve, I remember when I was a child, feeling at times somewhat disoriented. I grew up eating candy sitting around the house in dishes. Eventually I was diagnosed years later with hypoglycemia. While in the 9th grade, after eating Life cereal with milk, a sugary combination, going to school and seeing bubbles all around, dizzy like, and thinking " oh well it always get better by noon " . My personal opinion is sugar greatly stimulates the metabolism of many worms, which in turn produce endotoxins. I think diet is key for a child with an autistic aptitude. I think sugar is exceedingly bad, or natural things even that are very sweet. A proper balance of protein fat and carbohydrates principally from non sugary sweet things, like potatoes, etc. Too much bread can even be too sweet. Complex carbohydrates are better than sweets. Balance of diet is key. If he could learn to love healthy alfalfa sprouts, I believe this would be a big help. I think an improper concentration or balance in the diet promotes the growth of unfriendly organisms in the bowels or intestines, especially sweets. Giving sugar foods is like feeding roundworms with " Miracle Grow " . Parasites with a stimulated metabolism can produce a high amount of harmful toxins. These toxins can have neurological effects, endocrine effects. Lenny ps For many years eating a slice of cake or anything similarly sweet always triggered a migraine headache in me. and Steve wrote: > Hello all, > > I am new to the group and have been searching around for answers > for my five year old son. Guest guest
Hi Steve & ....my heart goes out to you...those !*@# doctors and their vaccinations...I stopped vaccinations with my daughter, when I learned how damaging they can be...many cases of SIDS have been linked to vaccinations...a supplement that you may want to look at is Sun Chlorella A, very effective in removing toxins from the cells especially heavy metals...I suffered from mercury poisoning over 2 years ago, and yes one the symptoms is autism...HEAVY METAL poisoning is the underlying problem...and I would AVOID ALL VACCINATIONS....You may want to have a look at these sights also: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/8148/vac.html#higher http://home.sprynet.com/~gyrene/index.htm http://thinktwice.com/ http://www.909shot.com/kids.htm You can also go to vaccinations & informed Health is Happiness Donna ------- > I am new to the group and have been searching around for answers > for my five year old son. Dear Steve, When I read your post it immediately brought to mind the plethora of heavy metals and toxic chemicals that are put in vaccines these days. Removing these toxins from your son's body may be a worthwhile area of pursuit. I don't know specifically of the methods one might use, but a cursory search should yeild something for you. Good luck to you.... Neil

Guest guest
I tried the liver cleans with the cod liver oil pack. It worked very nice but it was a smelly procedure. These stones came from the same place the other stones came with the magnesium cleanse, From your liver and gallbladder. It is the same cleanse but with different way of doing it. Didn't tire me out. You are to soak a cloth, like terry or flannel in cod liver oil, (I used paper towels, disposable) and place it where your liver is on the right side of the body. Put plastic wrap on top and then a heating pad or hot water bottle, for 20 minutes. But do this procedure the same way you did the other liver cleanse. Except you don't use the epsom salts. This pack is put on when it is time for you to drink your cocktail and lay down with the pack for 20 minutes. Liz D bowel cleanse I just read the posts on the bowel cleanse. I would like to try it but I was just wondering what the hot castor oil pack did, how it was made and someone said they had gotten green stones out if so where did these come from , the bowel? Sorry if these are dumb questions but I am feeling better after doing my lilver flush and wanted to try this too. Any advice would be so nice Thank so much. Guest guest
Ann; Never hesitate to ask a question regarding your body's health. The answer is deep within the archives of this group but regardless of that it is often a good practice to restate the previous postings, and especially on this group considering how many posts it gets in a week's time. The stones that one may get from these various cleansing methods come from the liver and gallbladder. They are usually green with some brown flakes around them. There are various locations on the net to which one can go and see the various types of gallstones. The castor oil pack is really simple to do. It just calls for the oil, cotton roll or two towels – one for the oil and the other to cover the plastic cover --, a plastic cover, and a heat source such as a hot water bottle that is preferred to a heating pad because of the timing factor it will give. The cotton roll is cut so it covers the upper abdominal area and saturated with the castor oil then laid over that area. It is then covered with a plastic such as a trash bag and the a thick or folded towel is added to that. The hot water bottle is then placed over all of that and allowed to sit there until it cools. Insulating by adding some more towels will help it to last longer but fifteen, thirty or more minutes is all that's really needed per session, which is about the time it takes for the hot water bottle to cool. Guest guest
I've been convinced of the need for a bowel cleanse and have spent the past couple of days reading the stuff on curezone - but feel totally unable to make a decision as to what sort of cleanse I might do - there is so much information. Can anyone here share with me what specific cleanses they have tried? or can anyone recommend a book they read on bowel care which they found useful? Thanks Sal

Guest guest
She is asking about something for comstipation. I know that the lower bowel formula will get rid of constipation, Does she like veggie juices? Two days ago I made some carrot/spinach juice (excellent formula for moving bowels). I had a lb. of organic spinach in the fridge for a few days, wasn't using it fast enough and didn't want it to go bad, so I figured I'll juice about 3/4 of it with the carrots. Wow! I've pooping at least 3-4 times a day since!! This stuff really gets that colon cleaned out. The taste would take some getting used to for a "newbie", but you can also throw an apple in there to make it taste better. Gloria

Guest guest
and don't forget prune juice! That's another surefire winner for me. Last week at work, somehow the unusually personal discussion of "how often do you have a bowel movement?" came up among my co-workers. One said she had one every 2 weeks, for another person once a week was "normal". These are young women 19-27 yrs. old. Some confided that not going for 10 days wasn't unusual for them. Out of about 8 of us, only 3 went everyday. It was an eye-opener for me! Two of them decided they wanted to do a colon cleanse so they had me go down to a health food store with them and pick something out for them to take. (They elected me "expert"). I chose one with lots of herbs like cascara sagrada, slippery elm etc. A couple days later they said they each took 2 of them but nothing happened but they were afraid to take more for fear they'd be on the toilet for weeks. I guess Dr. Schulze is right about us having an epidemic of clogged colons. Gloria

Guest guest
You need to be hydrating the body at the same time... like drinking alot of water...... This is very true and the 2 people having the most problems moving their bowels readily admit they don't drink much water. I have found that, regardless of what the physcial ailment is, people in general are very reluctant to change their dietary habits. So they will try a laxative, but not drink more water or eat more fiber, even though they say they "should". Gloria
Guest guest
That is what is wrong with most people today... they say they want to but don't want to be "inconvenienced" with what it takes to change and become healthy. I think it's partly because the medical community prescribes a pill for virtually every problem and people who buy into that see it as a much easier solution than changing what they've been eating all their lives. They also aren't totally convinced that diet plays much of a role in developing or curing disease. I always remember when McCartney died from beast cancer. I was working with the public and sooo many people said things to me like "Well, it looks like her being a vegetarian didn't do much for her health". Huh???? Gloria ++++++++++++++++++ That’s pretty funny Gloria! I had a similar experience several years ago when I used to work at a fast-foot restaurant. I would take a huge salad from home every day for lunch, and my co-workers teased me every day - “there she is again eating her rabbit food”, or some such comment. They wondered why in the world I wouldn’t just eat the restaurant food. Yeah, sure – ummmm – hot dogs, sausage, hamburgers, french fries, onion rings. I wonder how their digestion is!!! Guest guest
Yes, she was a vegan... but I'll bet it wasn't a raw vegan... and you don't know how much water/juice intake, etc.... I had one of 's cookbooks and she used cheese and plenty of butter and oil in some of her recipes. I'm not going to point the finger and say what's responsible for her dying so young. Lots of people eat lard and greasy food and live to be 100, so who knows? But when a well-known vegetarian under 80 yrs. old passes away many people are quick to point the finger and say what they ate obviously didn't make any difference.
