I threw some carrots, beets, a burdock root in the new juicer this

morning. Earthy taste, it was pretty intense. Has to be healthy but

not sure I could get anyone else to take it straight like that. Good

idea.

Yes on both. If you live in a northern climate, burdock is that

plant with the round velcroelike burrs that stick to everything.

Describing it from there would be difficult but I bet a google search

might turn up some pictures for you.

Seeds are available from Bountiful Gardens in Willits, CA. I

think their web is www.bountifulgardens.org. It's a wonderful plant

to have growing in your neihborhood.
