Guest guest
I don't know about the product you mention at all, but someone has said through this forum/group that mushrooms are OK for us to eat.. I don't seem to have problems with them.. ~Louise ________________________________ From: douglas <dglsrichey@...> candidiasis Sent: Sunday, May 15, 2011 11:24 PM Subject: AHCC-mushroom derivative AHCC is supposed to be a great immune system modulator. I wonder since in the formulation of this product only this effective aspect is extracted whether it would be ok for candida. It is mushroom related. Anyone taking it? Guest guest
I've always been led to believe most mushrooms are a no-no, based on the fact they're grown in damp, moist conditions (ie. mould!) So they produce yeast which is what we need to avoid & I personally stay away from all varieties of them. However, apparently Shitake mushrooms supposed to be OK for us, as they produce the 'right' kind of bacteria. Really no idea whether this is correct or not. Anyone able to shed educated light on the mushroom question?? And is AHCC a supplement or what? > > I don't know about the product you mention at all, but someone has said through this forum/group that mushrooms are OK for us to eat.. Guest guest
Kapesty, yes it is an extract of mushroom made into a supplement. Had not heard that about the shitake mush.
