Guest guest
Question for Andy, On occasion when I have heartburn, I take a Multi-Enzyme. The ingredients are: pure plant fiber, gelatin, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, and silica. And it would be gone within a matter of minutes. Is this something those having heartburn with the LA could take? Although I know gelatin is not good. I located an Osteopathic physician who is going to start mercury test for my daughter next month. Guest guest
I've had heartburn/esophageal spasms off an while chelating. I've found that aloe vera juice and peppermint tea (sometimes ginger too) really take care of it pretty quickly. Be careful about using antacids since many contain aluminum. You can easily tell which by reading the label. Gaylen

Either way, it's probably ok on a yeast free diet. Gaylen

Guest guest
I have noticed that sometimes after a light meal or with certain foods, I get a heartburn effect even with the enzymes. I'm not sure, but it may have to do with certain foods being acid promoters, then the enzymes break down food and move it out, but the acid-promoting food effect is still causing acid to be produced. For the fried chicken, I would take a couple of ZPs, for the lipase, because fats tend to slow down digestion and due promote heartburn. > I am finding that although I am not as sick after eating that 1 to 2 > hours later I still have a mild heartburn feeling. Guest guest
I'll try the two ZPs. It seems like if I " graze " all day OR eat a medium/large size meal, I am okay, but if I eat a small meal, it's terrible. Thanks. . > > I am finding that although I am not as sick after eating that 1 to > 2 > > hours later I still have a mild heartburn feeling. Would taking > more > > enzymes help that? Guest guest
Relieve Heartburn: Ginger relaxes the smooth muscles along the walls of the esophagus, boosts digestive fluids and neutralizes stomach acid. Take 100mg 20 minutes before meals. Suzi What is a weed?
