extreme cold

Hi everyone,

This might be a silly question, but last night I

suffered from extreme cold for at least two hours

(complete with my trying to warm up wearing many

layers and mittens to bed). I could not warm up and

my teeth were chattering. My muscles were so stiff

from trembling and I guess spasms, it was hard to

relax to go to sleep. When I finally did, I awakened

a time later and of course, was very warm. This

morning, I have a bad headache. My waking temp was

97.6--certainly not a fever, but higher than it

usually is (usually low 97 or 96 something).

Maybe this was just a bug I was fighting and I

semi-'won' because I'm not that sick today?

I've been on iodine for almost a year. I have

hashimotos. I had anemia but that has been

controlled. I'm on armour and HC. (all things to

raise body temperature, so my feeling so internally

cold needs an explanation!) I have not really

started the candida diet yet, except trying to change

my diet and eating a slice of goat butter a day. I

try to take 3000mg of vitamin c a day but on occasion,

I skip it. Last night I had my oj, vitamin c, and

celtic seasalt combo before bed.

Could this be a virus I was fighting or could I have

possible had a die off? (even though I'm not really

on the diet yet?)

Second question: I have to have surgery in a week.

Do I load up on vitamin C ahead of time? what is the

protocol if you are having surgery?? Thank you in

advance!

-kelly (not a vegan, just my name is!)
