I would take the coconut oil in a crock pot (on lowest setting) add the herbs and let it slow/low cook for several hours or more depending on temp.... once the herbs have extracted into the oil, turn it off, strain or leave in beings it is calendula, put in containers and let cool.

I use a pyrex pot in a pan of water like a double boiler. Turn the heat way down and let it steep.
