Guest guest
I am going to have my thyroid checked as i am having alot of dry skin, cold extremeties and chronic fatigue.I was wondering, if I go on a thyroid treatment, mainstream or alternative, are there things I need to be aware of relative to my candida? Guest guest
Caroline, when I can get back on the icy roads I'll visit an alternative thyroid doc and also will get off the soy I put in my coffee. My thyroid usually checks out ok at mainstream doctor but I have heard that blood tests don't always tell the whole truth. You shd also check the adrenals cos if they are not working properly either your thyroid will be affected too. good luck! btw dont forget to never eat soy! soy is bad esp with a low thyroid. ________________________________ From: dglsrichey <dglsrichey@...> candidiasis Sent: Tue, January 11, 2011 8:49:51 PM Subject: Candida and thyroid I am going to have my thyroid checked as i am having alot of dry skin, cold extremeties and chronic fatigue.I was wondering, if I go on a thyroid treatment, mainstream or alternative, are there things I need to be aware of relative to my candida? Guest guest
yep exactly, I struggled to find a doc who was willing to check my T3 and T4 in my urine, a 24h test, it showed very low T3 and low cortisol, while in the blood test we could see I had auto immune thyroidits but my TSH was within range. also my basal temperature is too low, some say that test is reliable, but you can always check. Good luck! ________________________________ From: douglas richey <dglsrichey@...> candidiasis Sent: Tue, January 11, 2011 10:30:07 PM Subject: Re: Candida and thyroid Caroline, when I can get back on the icy roads I'll visit an alternative thyroid doc and also will get off the soy I put in my coffee.
