Guest guest
Hello: I am relatively new to this board. But just found out here that oatmeal is bad for candida. Every day I found out something I am doing wrong in this candida battle I thought I could eat oatmeal for breakfast with s bit of cocnut oil and probiotic green superfood, cinnamon for flavor. UGH! Now reading the post found out it is a no no. I like it as it fills me up as I get very hungry in the morning and have low blood sugar and low energy. What is there left to eat as no cerael is without sugar, wheat, malt...I don't have a lot of time in the a.m. to make steak and eggs etc. My history: I have been battling this yeast bug in my gut for over 2 years now. This is a reoccurring Candida episode as I had it bad about 6 years ago. I have been checked by traditional dr and after a ct scan, several blood tests, stool samples... given clean bill of health but have terrible pain, nausea, bloating, gas, ache all over, brain fog, depression, fatigue...I could go on but all my symptoms pointed to candida. A homopathic dr tested and said i have bacterial virus and candida...but the drops she gave me to clear it up did not work for me.... What I have done so far: Treatment at clinic in Mexico shots and Nyastatin drugs. Homeopathic drs. Diet: no yeast foods, sugar, fruit, vinegar, malt, dairy, low carbs, no red wine - boo hoo! or dark chocolate - boo hoo! This makes me rather crabby as I watch my family and friends eat pizza etc... I have been on several yeast cleansing products and probiotics and still pain gas bloating etc. My next step is to get colonics believing the candida is dying off but not coming out of the body... and I am now rotating my yeast cleansing products ie oregano oil, caprilic. tea tree oil, syclivoir, candex enzymes....probiotics Any way if anyone has any suggestions as to what has really worked for them I would be so greatful as I am in tears over this. I want to get on with my life and be there for my family as this candida problem can really turn into an obsession when you cant get well and I am too fatigued to do fun stuff with my daughter. I have no time to read a detailed book and I have read up on the basics diet etc but found lots of contradictions with the diet other than the obvious. Anyway any help would be appreciated
