Guest guest
I get red corners only when I eat certain things like pineapple and it gets on my lips. Vitamin E (squeezed out of a gel cap) seems to help some, but it still takes about a week to go away. For any issues with inside the mouth, I oil pull with coconut oil every morning when I wake up. > > Anyone find a remedy for the red corners of the mouth?? Guest guest
When it's red, does it crack easily? You can try vitamin B2 supplement. This has worked for me. According to someone, vitamins B1 and B12 depress B2 which causes the cracking. I'm thinking that yours is red since you're putting creams on it to keep it from cracking - mine has healed but is still a LITTLE bit red. I've been taking extra B2 for about 2 weeks now. Guest guest
Has anyone tried angularchelitisfoundation.com? Supposidly they have a mixture of ingredients that will take away the redness, but you have to pay 70$ to get it, and I'm skeptical it will work anyway. Also, angularcure.com has a cream that's supposed to take away the redness, for 40$. Please post if you've tried either.
Guest guest
it cracks from time to time, but most of the time it's just red and flakey. Actually for the last few weeks I haven't put anything on it, just tried to keep it as dry as possible, and it hasn't really improved. So a zinc or iron supplement might work? I eat pretty healthy and take a multi-vitamin every day. I'm also positive the redness is related to Candida, because I also have the rectal itching and took antibiotics for a significant period of time. It's just very tough to control/get rid of the overgrowth.
