Guest guest
You can get a pimple anywhere on your body...it's just more common in oily pore areas. I wouldn't worry unless it doesn't go away or gets larger. I had one and it went away....sexually inactive, as well. It seemed like it took awhile to go away. I didn't pay much attention to the timeframe. Kit -- In health , " Anne " <pokergirl212000@y...> wrote: > I have recently noticed a small lump on my external vaginal area. Guest guest
Personal experience would lead me to reiterate what the doctor said: it is a cyst. Quite harmless. Unless, like Kit said, it gets bigger. Mine have not gone away. Sue I have recently noticed a small lump on my external vaginal area. It is the size of a large pimple or wart. I have not been sexually active for about 10 years. What could this be? Should I call the doctor or wait to see if it disappears on its own? Please help, it frightens me to have a pimple/wart down there, that just doesnt seem normal to me.I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. It has removed 114 spam emails to date.Paying users do not have this message in their emails.Try SPAMfighter for free now! Guest guest
Don't panic yet Anne, It should be checked but it could be a pimple or a Baker's cyst which is very common in women and nothing to get frightened about. As an RN I have seen this many times and all of the women have panicked. Sit down with a cup of tea and calm your self before you call the doctor. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-Virginia -Gruverwww.manhattancreekranch.comAkbash Predator Control DogsNigerian Dwarf, Lamancha,Nubian, MiniMancha, MiniNubianGarden Valley, CA -----Original Message-----From: health [mailto:health ]On Behalf Of AnneSent: Tuesday, September 13, 2005 3:41 PMhealth Subject: Difficult question - PLEASE HELPI have recently noticed a small lump on my external vaginal area. Guest guest
Hi this is my second post on here tonight. I had one of these cysts a few years ago and when I was an assistant nurse, the nurse I used to be with on night duty shared with me some of her family's old remedies. Her husband had a huge boil on the back of his neck so she boiled up an onion till it was soft and starting to fall apart, then wrapped it in a soft piece of cotton or linen and made sure it wasn't too hot. She wrapped it around his neck and within about 10-15 minutes his boil had come to a head and burst. The whole thing came out including long strings with tiny white boils on the end. Strange!! He never had any more boils there. It was painless too. Anyway I had a cyst not a boil in a nearby area to yours more outer I would say mine was. However I decided to try the onion poultice and it worked. Mine was a painful cyst but wouldn't come to a head and it was hard. It must have taken about 20-30 minutes and then it burst painlessly and all the pain went too as it oozed out. Sounds gross but what a relief! And I didn't have to go to the doctor who was in another town. I painted some iodine or something on it and it was healed within a day or two with no trace. The onion seems to draw these things out. It has to be warm but not boiling hot.. just hot enough to bear. Hope this helps Jen No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
If it is innappropriate for me, a male, to respond to this type of question, please forgive me. I mean no disrespect. Does it itch? Is it a hard lump or "squishy"? My first thought was a type of herpes outbreak, which can last in the system without an outbreak for decades, then flare up. Has this happened before? Do you run a fever when it happens? Sorry I don't have any more specific answers. I am concerned for you, and hope someone here can help more than I. Peace, love, laughter Anne <pokergirl212000@...> wrote: I have recently noticed a small lump on my external vaginal area. It is the size of a large pimple or wart. Guest guest
, I don't think it is inappropriate for either sex to jump in on a problem when they are helping to resolve a problem and find a solution. After all, it is good health we are all trying to achieve here. Suzi <deuteronomy2929@...> wrote: If it is innappropriate for me, a male, to respond to this type of question, please forgive me. Guest guest
It is a small round hard lump about the size of a pea. I qam thinking it may be a Gartner's Cyst since I had one on the opposite side that was removed via surgery in December 2001. I was hoping it was a pimple and tried squeezing it, but it will not pop. I am doing the total body cleanse and will try the onion thing tonight. Hope this works cause I wouldn't want it to get bigger and have to have surgery down there again.
