Guest guest
A family member was working on a ladder near a window and shifted the ladder and crashed his hand through the window. My brother ran out and got me I came out, saw a bloody rag around a hand and a broken window, and hoped to heaven I wasn't going to have to pick glass out of a wound and that there weren't any cut arteries. Unwrapping the hand inside and washing the wounds carefully the person was lucky, the glass had missed the big veins on the back of the hand and only one of a bunch of lacerations was serious. I dumped tumeric on it and the bleeding stopped within seconds. We bandaged it up and the person went back to work making sure the ladder base wasn't on a tippy stone anymore. Tommorow I'll have to look at it again, probably put some healing salve on it. I am constantly amazed at how well that stuff works to stop bleeding.
