Guest guest
One a week. No wonder so many people walk around looking half dead already. How toxic must their bodies be. I thought I was eating bad lately which is usual for me after having a baby don't get a chance to eat. Still struggling with my diet and chocolate addiction but trying to eat more fruit at least. Guest guest
A friend always said "give him an enema" if someone was giving him a hard time! When anyone complained of having a sore on the end of their tongue they were constipated and if I got dizzy standing up fast, I was told I was constipated. I probably was because I was/am not a regular person. If I eat well, 100% raw, I've got no problems. Shari
Guest guest
have you tried Kudzu root? It's supposed to be very good for IBS. I had a store bought herbal that had kudzu root in it but after doing the MC i dont really have an IBS problem or CD. Syl <deuteronomy2929@...> wrote: Boy, I would LOVE to only have two a day! Guest guest
my DH had the same problem for a year. His Dr did a bunch of testing, etc. Told him to use Metamucil. That slowed it down enough so he could get more than 100 feet from a toilet. (I know --- not funny!) I got him to run a course with Para Shield and a good probiotic. Now he is doing just fine. Para Shield does not say so, but it is a parasite remedy. Link below for it. http://69.5.9.93/product.php?id=32 Now he is happily drinking liver cleanse tea because I told him it would get rid of his "cold". (Read detoxing mucous!) Sneaky, I know, but I love the old dear and I want him to get off those darned meds! Guest guest
I don't just have IBS.....mine is now PCS and is caused by my liver making too much bile that my body can't use now that I have no gall bladder. IBS was horrible but PCS is even worse. I take acidopholis and that hasn't really helped except to get rid of my yeast infection. I am continuing it though as I know it has to be doing something that I can't see. I take capsules though and hope I am taking enough. One that actually works – you can test it by putting it in a glass of milk and it should curdle. One capsule an hour would be good. It will help your body absorb the water from your food through the large intestine and will make the stool a little more bulky. It might be worth a try. It will also add back into your body the much needed bacteria you are losing every day. Here is an excerpt from a book called Probiotics... Nature's Internal Healers by Natasha Trenev. On Diarrhea.... it actually mentions taking both acidophilus and bifidus. “Diarrhea is characterized by excessive and frequent bowel movements that are loose and watery. Accompanying symptoms might include abdominal pain and cramping, fever, thirst, and vomiting. Excessive or prolonged diarrhea can cause dehydration due to the water loss from the body. It can interfere with nutrient absorption because the digested food rushes through the intestines before nutrients can be extracted and absorbed. Diarrhea can also throw your body's pH level off balance. Diarrhea can be the result of a number of causes, including the ingestion of certain foods, lactose intolerance, food poisoning, the side effects of certain drugs, infection, inflammation, irritation, influenza, and poisonous toxins produced by invading pathogenic bacteria. More serious causes for diarrhea include intestinal tumors and malabsorption syndrome-a condition in which the intestines cannot efficiently absorb the nutrients in foods. No matter what the cause, when you suffer from diarrhea, you lose vast numbers of bacteria at a very fast rate in a very short period of time. This condition dramatically and quickly affects the friendly bacterial populations of the bowel. At times, the resident beneficial bacteria can be completely overwhelmed by the activities of an invading pathogen-bacterial or viral-that produces diarrhea by its toxic byproducts. What happens in the large intestine differs when the pathogenic invader is a bacterial colonizer (such as Salmonella, Shigella, and E. coli) or a transient bacteria (including Staphylococcus aureus, some strains of Clostridium, and Bacillus cereus). Obviously, any bacterial strain that aims to take up residence is more difficult to deal with than one that will pass through naturally in time. The diarrhea itself can be the result of the rapid growth of colonizing harmful bacteria, or the toxins that both colonizers and transients produce. Whatever medical treatment your doctor may recommend to deal with acute diarrhea, and that depends on the root cause, your first responsibility is to promptly replace the friendly bacteria you have lost. When you reinforce the friendly bacteria with effective probiotics, no matter what the cause of your diarrhea might be, you are giving your body what it needs to restore health to the region. Take 1/2 teaspoon each of L. acidophilus, B. bifidum powders, (or 1 capsule each), along with 1/2 teaspoon L. bulgaricus powder mixed in 6 to 8 ounces unchilled filtered water. Continue this regimen every hour.” Carol ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Would you benefit from a more effective and healthy immune system?
