Where do you get your plant based enzymes? I looked around a bit and canonly seem to find them in hard pill form. Yuck. That doesn't seem right.

I use two. One is a whole food probiotic/enzyme mix, and it comes from www.pulseparty.com/WholeFoodNutrition. The second is also a whole food product, a barley/enzyme mix, and it comes from www.5pillars.com/522844000.

I have not been around for a while, because I have been ill with severe diarrhea, bloating, gas, pain, and nausea. After being in the hospital, and having every test that was available, they told me what I, as a nurse, already knew. I have gallstones and IBS. My stomach was emptying in one hour, half of the time that is normal. I initially didn't try to treat myself, because I wanted to find out what was wrong, thinking blockage or tumor, and I wanted the tests.

They had no answers, and not really even medication, except amitriptyline, a mood elevator that as a side effect, works on the GI system. I didn't want to do that, so I started trying different alternatives. It was the combination of the two enzyme preparations along with a proteolytic enzyme compound, that finally made the difference.
