Guest guest
Hi all. Just wonder if anyone has consulted with Dr. Zhang in New York. I have heard some good things about his TCM work and would like to hear if anyone has experience with him. Thanks all.
Guest guest
I put out an " all call " one year about people's feedback concerning Dr. Zhang. It was kind of 50/50. Some felt they were helped and others said it was a waste of their $$ so it is a decision that only you can make. Remember though, nothing kills the virus (so far) except interferon and an antiviral. If Dr. Zhang's concoctions can make you feel better though, than I am all for it! If you want I can look for some of those emails and copy them without the names and post. Guest guest
Hi, Because I have family in new York, I have been to Dr. Zhang twice spaced about a year out. His protocol did not bring my liver function tests within the normal range over a two year period. I still take one of his herbs and like Satya I take an herbal supplement prescribed for me by my TCM naturopath. I also follow the Berkson protocol (with LDN) and take the supplements from Hepatitis Technologies. I have early cirrhosis and a very high viral load (the last test showed a VL of 28,000,000). I found Dr. Zhang to be somewhat generic in his approach. If you have hepatitis C he generally prescribes a couple of his herbs and that's it. If you buy his book, I think he will give you a free fifteen minute consultation and prescribe his herbs for you. On my last visit, his assistant gave me acupuncture and stimulated the needles throughout the treatment with electricity. Afterwords I felt very bad and nauseated for a few hours. My naturopath said that I had been 'over' stimulated. I do not think seeing him or following his protocol will do any harm and there is a good chance it will do some good. Aside from treatment, I have not found any allopathic doctor who has anything to offer hepatitis patients in the way of easing of symptoms. Good Naturopaths and integrative physicians, on the other hand, have a much wider variety of tricks, tools, and knowledge that can be useful. I am hoping to stay alive long enough for a treatment I can tolerate. And aside from fatigue and the stress of having a chronic progressive disease, I have a high quality of life. At least doctors like Dr. Zhang have 'something' to offer folks who aren't doing treatment. By the way, Satya, what is this SUPERBLEND you mentioned? Cheers and good thoughts to *all* on this board. But i felt great on his protocol..
Guest guest
oh, hello ! the Superblend had just about everything you needed to achieve great health with Hep C. (i had already got my alt and ast down to normal levels with Zhang's protocol- and btw, i never did see him in person, but did have phone consults with him over the two yrs i was on his protocol..he was also helpful when i had other viral infections and even pneumonia (twice!), which i cured with his formulas only..)..i did use some other supps at the time i used the Superblend, also other alternative treatments which i was using to try to 'clear'...way back when.. ! .. ( i did come pretty close, got my viral load down to 8,000 copies, but the protocol i used was pretty intense, and i only kept that up for a year and a half or so..my viral load now still stays below 200,000).. but Jay passed away (brain cancer), and no one ever replicated the product, altho there were whisperings that this would happen. ..if the Superblend were still around, i'd still be taking it! have a great day, Satya [ ] Re: Zhang clinic in New York City Hi,Because I have family in new York, I have been to Dr. Zhang twice spaced about a year out.
