Thanks for this, Sue. Last night I was roasting some cauliflower in the oven, reached in with a potholder to shake the pan, and as I grabbed the pan the potholder slipped and I grabbed a 425 degree pan with the three middle fingertipss of my left hand. It hurt! And immediately started to blister.

Luckily, I had my favorite product handy (I keep one in the kitchen and every bathroom in each house)....it's cold pressed aloe vera gel in a squeezable tube, and I immediately squeezed a couple of drops onto those fingertips and spread them around. I repeated that three times in total during the course of the night and when I awoke this morning my fingertips not only weren't blistered, they didn't even hurt.

Guess that'll teach me to cook my food, huh?<VBG> But at least I had the aloe handy!
