Interesting~! Betsy~! -- Also, according to Dr. Schulze,

any white flour products destroy bone mass, or as he would put it,

if you eat white bread or pasta, you're peeing your bones down the

toilet. Betsy

I bought some cherry essence prunes today by Sunsweet. They are

really yummy.

and Edie,

....I had the same reaction, big belly laugh....I actually love

dried prunes however I did have to reaffirm my relationship with

them post surgery....Edie are you recommending the prunes for

feeling low or the after effects or surgery or both? Its great

advice no matter what....

Still smiling,Cam

Hiya am,

Well, my original intent was to recommend prunes for the post-surgical

constipation that seems so prevalent...however, if they also lift your

spirits (which they should be default if they work....) then MORE

POWER TO PRUNES....that's what I say!

  • 2 months later...

how about the prunes? why bother with juice? i soak the prunes overnight and eat 5 each day. i put enough prunes to last for about a week, just cover them w/water.

My mother used to give me stewed prunes when I was little and I loved them! So recently I thought I'd make some, for old times sake;-). I cooked the prunes in some water and ate all of them...probably about 6 or 7, with the juice. Thank goodness I didn't have to go anywhere, because about 2 hrs. later I had a bowel explosion!! Those things really clean you out fast!
