Guest guest
I found this on the following website: http://www.cplt.com/sprm/livre_drogues/en/main_substances_volatiles.html Volatile solvents Volatile solvents are powerful psychoactive substances. They are inexpensive and readily available. They are found in various glues, lacquers, varnishes, spray paints, paint thinners, correction fluid (such as Liquid Paper®), gasoline, charcoal lighter, non-stick cooking sprays (such as PAM®), refrigerants (such as Freon®), certain cleaning fluids, and many other household and industrial products. Effects and dangers of volatile solvents The effects of volatile solvents are like instantaneous alcohol intoxication. Regular abuse of these substances is especially common among teenagers and the poorest members of society. Solvent abuse poses very serious health risks and can lead to various mental-health problems, as well as disorders of the blood, the liver, and the neuromotor, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. The symptoms of withdrawal from solvents are similar to those for other central nervous system depressants.
