Guest guest
Is there a benefit to taking cayenne in capsules over the powder? I drink a glass of water in the morning with a spoonful of blackstrap molasses and a tablespoon of cayenne and then I drink cayenne water throughout the day and also use cayenne on almost everything I eat besides the hot peppers. I know that the capsules are used by many who cannot tolerate the actual powder but just wondering if there was more of a benefit in using them over powder. Thankyou Toni
Guest guest
No. Actually taking it in water or juice is better because the mouth tells the stomach what is coming and the stomach can prepare with digestive juices to handle the heat. If you're used to eating hot stuff, capsules should be no problem... SuziTone <tone102@...> wrote: Is there a benefit to taking cayenne in capsules over the powder? Guest guest
I tried capsules once and it felt like a hole was being burned in my stomach. Those of you who just use capsules must have very strong stomachs! -----Original Message----- From: Tone Sent: Nov 13, 2005 8:00 PM health Subject: Re: A Few Questions...Cayenne Is there a benefit to taking cayenne in capsules over the powder? Guest guest
That is why, unless you are used to eating "hot stuff", you need to go slow or take it in liquid or food to prepare the stomach for what is coming. Capsules come as a complete surprise to the stomach. SuziCandace <momofbrock@...> wrote: I tried capsules once and it felt like a hole was being burned in my stomach.
