That's what I thought too.

Just had to ask because we have all come down with a cold now. My husband eats a clove eary night and I try to get the kids to eat it in raw organic honey. 4 will 1 won't.

Hi Tracey,

Hope you and the family are doing well. Blessings on your littlest one turning 5 weeks.

I personally would not eat the garlic while breastfeeding. Whatever you ingest, she will ingest through you. I love garlic and it is great for one but it is overpowering and much more so for a baby.

Just my thoughts on it

Be well,

All the best

Toni

Hi Tone

Yes me and the family are doing OK. Yes it has gone so fast 5 weeks since I held her newly born here on the loungeroom floor.

She is a really big feeder too. Hoping she will settle down because now all she does is drink and if she doesn't get that then she cries. All my babies have been big feeders and pack on the weight until they settle down, especially the last 4 that breastfed.

Blessings

Tracey

Depends on how much you eat... DIL would take super tonic so that the grandson would get it thru the milk..

Try a 1/2 clove and see how baby does... Heck, my grandson ate hot pepper bread one nite at a restaurant acording to my DIL like crazy.... I think due to her taking the super tonic..

He even gets a little bit in his juices from time to time.

Thanks Suzi will try it because I want to shake this cold. I have 2 barking they are OK now it is daytime and the others sniffling. Mind you the barking only last 1 or 2 nights and is very mild. They are pretty healthy although we have severely slipped lately.

It is a herb.......ginseng....and it was just approved by the canadian food and drug. I think it was developed here in Canada and uses North American ginseng....although I haven't looked into it but they did studies this time and not sure of the stats but it reduced the number of colds people got and reduced the effects and duration for those who got the colds. Might be worth checking into as so far nothing else has worked for me and the kids.

Last cold I got I popped vit C and garlic, drank lots of OJ and still ended up with bronchitis and a sinus infection.

Please see HAWK message #27892 for how to handle colds and flu, which are the result of toxin build-up in the body. Doesn't cost a thing and guaranteed to work.

Or, you can read it here:
