Sheinvited me down for Thanksgiving and I happily accepted. But now I amtold that she is having a major problem with fleas. I live in Utah wherewe really don't have flea problems, and I can't go to California unlessI take my dog. I would really rather not bring the fleas home justbecause of the possibility of infecting my house. Is there any naturalway to solve my problem? If not, I may be staying in Utah forThanksgiving.

Diatomaceous earth will do in the fleas. It will not harm pets. You can rub

it in your dog's coat before you go and as you leave. Happy Thanksgiving!

If you're going to use DE, make sure you use the food grade stuff, not the

pool filter stuff. I've not had a need to use DE (with a raw diet you

rarely see fleas at all; Cedar has never had one), but I've read this

warning many times.

Terri, a raw diet goes a long way to prevent them.. but all the messages have different thoughts. SuziTerriLynne <terri_lynne@...> wrote: Hi,I am wondering if all those messages just boil down to the threesuggestions of neem powder, diatamaceous earth, or nutritional yeast andgarlic powder. Yes, I have used DE for fleas. Whoever suggested yeast is right too. You can

feed it or rub it in the fur.
