Have you tried drinking it in fruit juice with a frozen banana blended in? That's the only way I can drink Complete Nutrition. The banana hides the taste.

Just curious if anyone has some recommendations of herbs to stimulate a slow metabolism? I do take Cayenne each day, but was wondering what else might be recommended.

Barb, the only way my family can take it is in apple juice with half a frozen banana..and I drink it without the banana and hate it, but I hate allot of things and do them anyway. My family will not swallow 24 pills (I did what you did) and they will not drink it without that bit of banana to smother something they don't like. I think it is the texture I am smothering LOL. I just buy a bunch of organic bananas and freeze them. each morning I put one cup apple juice in the blender and the powder--then I drop in the piece of banana and while I piddle about getting hubby's clothes out and the fire going the banana softens a bit. Then I pulse blend it a few times, then blend it for a minute. It has even been mentioned that it is very good after a few days.

Tomato juice is good but so is apple juice (the real stuff, freshed juiced) You can always do one in a.m and one in p.m. 1 tlbs. each. 7 Tips to Increase Metabolism To increase metabolism, always eat breakfast in the morning. Break-fast...break the fast. Don't skip breakfast. If you wait until mid morning or afternoon to eat, your metabolism will run slower. Think of breakfast as adding logs to the fireplace. Your metabolism is the fireplace and logs are the breakfast. Increase metabolism by eating smaller meals through the day. Eat 4 to 6 six small meals, 2 to 3 hours apart. Don't depend on herbal products to increase metabolism or energy level. Any metabolic increase will be minimum and herbs are not cheap. Instead, include more energy foods such as whole grains, beans, vegetables and fruits. Park further away and walk. Use the stairs instead of the elevator when possible. Walk to the post office instead of getting into the car. Take your dog on a daily walk. Do more activities around the house to burn energy instead of wasting money on pills and potions that don't work. Incorporate a walking routine to increase metabolism at least three to four times a week. Walk 30 to 40 minutes each time. This is the best way to increase your

These were packed pretty tightly but they are size 00 capsules. There is no way a tablespoon would fit into only 2 capules. I use a mechanical thingy, just a cheapy from Mountain Rose for 13.00. I encap some of my mix, but not instead of drinking it (and apple juice is really the best to mix with it) I encap mine so i can keep some on hand for when i am not home and need something to keep me going! I have to agree with the point on keeping your metabolism rev'd by not skipping meals. If you have a tendancy to be super busy though and not always eat when you should or not being able to eat when you need to, having some encapsulted formula on hand is great way to keep yourself going until you can get to "real food" and also will hopefully prevent you from turning to other options such as vending machines, etc I keep a little plastic bag in my purse with 24 caps all the time, then I "eat them" with some apple juice or even just water when i need to. Yes it does take work to encap them, but well worth the effort.
