Guest guest
Blend it all and let God sort it out. Actually I do remove the stems and any nasty looking parts. The batch I've got going now I didn't find any decent hot peppers for so threw in some 90,000 heat unit cayenne powder from the health food store. It does have nice freshly dug horseradish though. Yeah, I hear that about the horseradish!! Great stuff. I moved away from my favorite Health Food grocery, and I really miss it. When I'm in that area, I stock up. Picked up all kinds of dried goods, garbanzo, lentils, oatmeal. -- LynnLet us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.Marcel Proust
Guest guest
Correct. I just got the stuff together. I truly believe it is a guideline, not a rule. If the intentions are correct, then all will be good. That's just my .04. It was the time to buy for me. ;-) Lynn On 10/21/05, Gayla <goatclearing@...> wrote: I thought it was best to start on a new moon?
Guest guest
I just made a batch, do regularly. I always use the whole fruit (it is a fruit, isn't it?). And I dehydrate and pulverize the mash left after pressing. Peace, love, laughter "Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. I was able to get some organic serranos. Some say to take the seeds out, but I don't remember doing that the last time. Been over a year since I made it. I was thinking I just throw the lot in the processor, and have a go at it. Take the stems off? -- Lynn FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click. Guest guest
Some believe that the phases of the mood have a direct effect on the Tonic. Some use the moon as a natural timer. No need to look at a calander, just look at the moon to see when two weeks is up. Peace, love, laughter "Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Guest guest
I just rinse and scrub off anything on the outside or bad looking areas and leave stems and such intact then slice it up and have a blender party. It's odd, I notice the list is getting ready to start new batches as I am. One has to wonder at the timing! Guest guest
I like to start such things on the new moon too but I was in the mood to do some herbs. We had the first hard frost hit and I had just harvested a bunch of stuff and was putting it up anyway. Interestingly, two days after I started that new batch two different people came along with problems that took out a bunch of my back stock. When one get's an urge to put something up it's wise to listen to that because usually something's coming down soon which will need it. When's the best time to do herbs? Right now. What's the best herb? The one you have. Chris
