Guest guest
It is believed that Osgood-Schlatter disease results from the pull of the large powerful muscles in the front of the thigh (called the quadriceps). The quadriceps join with the patellar tendons, which run through the knee and into the tibia, to connect the muscles to the knee. When the quadriceps contract, the patellar tendons can start to pull away from the shin bone, causing pain. This problem becomes more noticeable during activities that require running, jumping or going up or down stairs. It's most common in young athletes who play football, soccer or basketball or are involved in gymnastics and ballet. Osgood-Schlatter disease usually goes away with time. When the child stops growing, the pain and swelling should go away because the patellar tendons become much stronger. Only rarely does Osgood-Schlatter disease persist beyond the growing stage, however I do have a friend who never outgrew it, and even into his 40's it still bothers him. Guest guest
The supplementation sounds good as does the loosing weight. Don't know what osgood slater's is. Dr. was pretty hard on the cause of arthritis like degenerative diseases being directly related to a diet of processed food. He gives herbal recommendations but they follow doing a 3 day cleanse and then going on what he calls a mucousless diet (starters: no white flour, no sugar, no dairy, cut down the meet, eat lots of produce). There's a great booklet out written by him about that, can't remember the title (The 3 Day Cleanse?) right off the top of my head but it's also in his book, The School of Natural Healing. Eat the cartildge off your chicken bones too. You can buy expensive shark cartildge supplements or you can gnaw some of the same nutrients from what you have in front of you. Basically, degeneration is usually malnutrion and/or malabsorbtion of nutrients. That's nearly always dietary influenced. Eating certain foods your body produces mucous that lines the intestines. That stuff protects you from the toxic impact of that food (wheat is very common and to arthritis DAIRY is HUGE) but in the long term seriously cuts down on your body's ability to absorb nutrients from what it gets. Without the proper nutrients, your body starts taking shortcuts and degenerative disorders start. The good news is by eliminating the mucous forming foods from your diet and eating better healthier food your body can start absorbing what it needs to do it's job. Along the way some herbal supplementation help to speed and smooth out the process. Without the change to better eating, herbal suppplementation is of limited value as the body can't absorb it properly anyway. THE SHORT ANSWER: Do a cleanse, change what you eat, keep with your supplementations and add Dr.'s Lower Bowel Formula (or similiar, I think it's in the files if it's not on the shelf at your local helath food store). Then think about a specific arthritis formula. Cayenne everyday and panther piss would be awesome too.

Guest guest
Oh, a muscular/tendon issue not a degenerative bone issue. That's a bit different and I'm glad you clarified that Barb. The cleanse and mucous free diet works for lots of things and long term healing results so I'll still recommend it. I'ld use St.'wort oil (my preference) or cayenne oil externally when it's a bother. Dr.'s BF & C (Bone, Flesh, and Cartilidge) formula and deep tissue repair oil ought to transmogrify it quickly.
Guest guest
Oops, forgot about the DMSO like Suzie mentioned. Mix DMSO with the deep tissue repair oil and use the BF & C mix. Get a bodyworker to do an energetic adjustment on the leg. Shouldn't take long at all to see some amazing results.
