Guest guest
RHSteve,Someone answered you on this, really I'm just backing him up.I recently had to go to the e-room without insurance. While we were doing paperwork the receptionist told me to get in touch with the billing department when I got the bill and I may be pleasantly surprised by the amount of subsidy that could be available. Well, she was right, even though I was working most of the bill was absorbed by the hospital. So your friend may be able to get a majority covered by programs the hospital already has in place. I'm sorry to hear about your continuing battles...but it's so good to see your positive attitude shining through! For planning purposes, there's a good chance I'll be in MN for a quick visit in May and a longer one in July, we gotta figure out a coffee house with our name on it.LHSteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. Jimmy Buffett [ ] insurance help Happy New Year to everyone, I hope it will be better for everyone! I have a question about those with no insurance who have to have some hospital work done. This is for someone I know who has no insurance but is in need of some pretty necessary medical procedures. I thought I would ask and see if there is anything out there somewhere that offers help with something like that. myself, I have been diagnosed with Bladder cancer now, on top of the HCV. They are wanting to remove my bladder in a few weeks! no fun! RHSteve
