DonTruly, my son suffered badly by the same kind of thing. He didn't get into trouble at school; but, it was difficult to get him to do some things because he couldn't retain the whole sentence. Then, we finally did learn that his mind is actually very hyper!! He has diagnosed himself with ADD and it probably is very true; but, not in a bad way. Yes, he was also very close to falling right into drug addiction as well.Sometimes, he still stuns me with his thinking on some subjects. Like, even right now we are on MSN together and he's telling me some of his thoughts about his step-father and that family. The way he puts it is so very logical etc. So, I've just asked him to

write some of it down and perhaps speak at the service. He said he's already thought that he would.Gloria

Hi Trudy

Hey......your not the only one that forgets.

Ive been forgetting stuff since I was a kid in school.

I had a terrible time remembering, and got my butt kicked plenty for it.

I got the standard parent-teacher abuse regularly.

I got checked out by every kind of doctor known to man, and given all sorts of tests.

You know what they finally came up with?

I was thinking too fast.!!!!!!!!

I was a damn Genius.

So they began to teach me 'tools' to help me remember stuff - like relationship things.

Then I couldnt forget.

I ended up with a photographic memory, and my brain caught on fire.

So I started using drugs.....lotsa drugs.

Now in my older age, looking back, I see that Im just as dumb as the next guy.

Or just as smart, depending on how one looks at it.

I have also found out that diet, lifestyle, health conditions, stress, age, all kinds of stuff - play a part in our memory.

Now, what was I talking about?

LMAO :-)

Oh yeah - just do what you can do, and dont worry too much about it.

Whatever - 'it' - is.

Old timers say - 'well, I guess it wasnt all that important'.

love

Hubby has had a cold. I'm sure he feels bad; is quite impatient with me. I hope this is simple brain fog. I can't remember what we are talking about, even tho I am in " mid-sentance " I forget. I asked his opinion on something. He gets frustrated and says we just talked about this yesterday. He goes over it again. Earlier I said something, Hubby says" It wont matter, you will take a nap and not remember anyway!". That hurt. Hell I don't have to nap to forget. I do hope this is simple brain( chemo) fog and will get better. http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " "A well- behaved woman never made history"...Mae Westhttp://oktravels.wordpress.comhttp://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx ------------------------------------
