The riba clearly states MUST be taken with interferon. It can kill u. Betty Pull up the MSDS sheet on ribavarin and then decide

I agree with Teri - Ribavirin DOES NOT work for HCV alone, and will cause Anemia that could kill you.

Youve been there, done that.

I agree with SuziQ - shift to suppliments and diet to slow any possible liver damage from HCV.

She uses it, and so do I. Marcia, Kat, and many more people are using ALTERNATIVE medicine to control the HCV.

He IS a medical doctor and has helped many many people. The supplements can be bought over the counter and are not expensive. I have an unopened bottle of Ribavirin here that has the medical warnings attached to it.. I just pulled it out and read the papers.  It says NOT to take it alone as it has no effect on Hep C or the liver without Interferon.  Tons of warnings about all sorts of stuff too!  Don't take these suckers if you're pregnant either!

ny,We kinda squelched this option pretty quick for you didn't we!  Talk about everybody being on the same page!  How often does that happen?  Good job group!  Ribavirin is a pretty nasty little drug.  It does what it has to do when it's needed but it's uses are apparently pretty limited!  Besides the fact that it's the Ribavirin that makes you all jittery, I can't imagine you wanting to take that drug again!  It was a thought....  you were thinking outside the box!  

For now, I really like SuziQ's suggestion for you...  check into Dr. B's program.  It seems to work for a lot of people.

Hi Teri,thanks!No I will not be taking them!
