Guest guest
Hi Pot does NOT take pain away.....not like opium would numb someone. What pot does is make you think about something else instead of dwelling on your discomfort.....YOUR STONED. You can teach your mind to do this without pot. Pot does promote liver Cirrhosis, but not nearly as bad as say - alcohol. If you use pot - as needed - it may not harm you much at all - but I have no facts to back that up. I know that if you chain smoke it - it does do a lot more damage. I know that COPD - Emphysema is also a problem [lung damage which will not regenerate]. Hawaii is one of the States where Medical MJ is legal. You need to get a Medical Card for it, then its concidered - medicine. Ask your doctor. No card - it is a crime. With a Med Card you can grow your own....6-10 plants, I think. You must re-new your MMJ card every year...cost 100-200 dollars. Remember - as with all meds - there is both good and bad. love don in ks I don't know if this is a no-no, but here it goes:does anybody know if medical pot is good for a pain killer, I hear it damages the liver, and we all know I can't afford any more damage to the liver.thanks so much, and sorry if this topic is out of line,Hugs,ny
Guest guest
Zoning in here, I recall reading back a few years that while it helps with the nasua during treatment it can affect the results of treatment, will do some research. May be true, my tx did not work. Guest guest
Who cares if you are stoned or what?? If pot takes your mind off what is hurting, then I'm all for it and I don't even like the stuff.A few years ago, this whole subject came up on another site I belonged to. At that time, I couldn't understand why everyone was so concerned about legal vs street. You see, I live in the province in Canada that pot is probably our largest export. I honestly could not envision that any Royal Canadian Mounted Police were going to come a bust this little ole lady just for having a bit of self-use on hand. Then I was enlightened. Most of the people on that site lived in a totally different province. I can tell you, if my liver cancer starts putting me into a lot of pain - I'm sure going to give the pot a serious thought and yes, I can buy it medically. But, I do have one warning, ny!!! From what I understand, in the states that actually do have medical pot, that is fine until it comes time for a liver transplant. Then, apparently, they won't do that transplant until you've been clean for a year!!! That just blows my mind!!! With my devious mind, I just wouldn't admit to it in the first place. I sure don't know how long it lasts in your system; but, I'll bet there are ways around that.Gloria Hi Pot does NOT take pain away.....not like opium would numb someone.
