Hi Don,thanks :)not too good, I found out that other organ was called the duodenum which is part of the small intestines which is also inflamed, I am starting to wonder if there are any organs in me not inflamed. All I do is stay in bed for the most part, as I have no energy and still have some pain. Been taking the pills they give me, but they don't seem to help. I have been eating and drinking water though. Hi Teri,thanks so much! I have such intense body aches, I could pint out where every muscle is, because I fell them, can't name them, but you know what I mean.The doctors have no idea, I am so angry as these is one of those nights I would go to the ER, but they won't help me.for one thing me WBC are about 16 which is very high(well depending you ask it is either high, or not too bad), which they all say is caused by an infection, but what infection, this can't be hard to figure out! 10 years ago I works at Scripps, I saw cutting edge medical tech, I know it is way better now,...There is no help, only pain pills :(thanks so much,Hugs, nyOn Jan 3, 2011, at 10:13 PM, Theresa Gottlieb wrote:

16,000 is elevated.  That means infection somewhere. It's not real bad high..  real bad high would be over 19,000 but it's indicating that something is going on.  Do they have you on any antibiotics?   It just sucks that you are in such a spot where you can't get any decent medical attention.

Thanks Teri,I have heard that is not high to oh my god, glad to hear 16 (15.9 exactly) is elevated, but not real bad. Yes I take lots of antibiotics for the bladder & and the stomach.Well here it is all about the money, I hear there are great doctors here, but they costs lots of money, if you are broke and have no insurance you are screwed.Can I ask what are high levels of iron, by iron total and iron binding are very high too. nyHigh iron is another by product of HepC!! It is why most of us can not be given anything with iron in it. I've haven't researched enough on it, to be able to say if there is something a person can take to flush it out of the system, yet.Gloria
