Guest guest
I don't think this is GERD. The only symptom I have is the pain under my breastbone and breasts. It's lessened today, somewhat. (I think that's just what the stupid doctors decided to call it because they were too lazy to actually try to figure out what was happening.) I'm thinking gall bladder? Maybe once I get back up to speed, do a gallbladder cleanse?? OTOH, the headache is back with a vengence. About a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. So....two major symptoms now are headache and upper abdominal pain. No vomiting since Friday morning and no diarrhea since yesterday afternoon. Am in the process of drinking a large glass of fresh squeezed grapefruit/orange/key lime juice and it feels good and is staying in. So far.<G> Sharyn From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of Suzanne The four major symptoms of GERD are: Heartburn (uncomfortable, rising, burning sensation behind the breastbone). Regurgitation of gastric acid or sour contents into the mouth. Difficult and/or painful swallowing. Chest pain. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
Sharyn, Did you say, did they take a stool sample?? I agree that it doesn't sound totally GERD... closer to gastroenteritis ... in some of your beginning symptoms. But Gall bladders will really stir up problems also. Suzi"Sharyn E. Guest guest
Liver & okra.<BG> Just kidding. Not that I know of. Today the chest seems to be much better (say, a 2 on a 1-10), but the head is back at an 8-9. I wish I knew what was going on!
