Guest guest
RodNo hats off to us, Rod - now it's your turn to fight like hell! The first time I started treatment, I quickly saw a dream that kept me going! I had bought my uncle's little travel trailer and was sooo looking forward to going out camping the following summer. Thus, during the especially difficult moments I visualized being beside a lake (in the shade mind you) and sitting in a chair, with nothing on my mind that perhaps the book I was reading.Well, I did a little of that. But, now I live in a 39' 5th wheel year round and with my dog and my cat. Unfortunately, there is no lake etc.; but, I have got lots of west coast trees all around and it's the place that I truly find my peace and serenity.Good LuckGloria Hi all, Y'all certainly have interesting and varied and poingant life stories! I honor you all for what you have done and lived through, and wish to second don's comments. Bravo! I saw Dr. today and my CD4 (HIV) is 230, which is middle ground between very bad (100) and ok (350). I just hope that the HIV meds will not hurt my liver. She wants to start me on a combo of Zidovudine and Lamivudine and Efavirenz. I know that Lamivudine is often prescribed for HebB, don't know about the others. We'll see how it affects the HVC. Any thoughts would be appreciated. My hats off you all of you who have lived through so much and are still fighting! Rod -
