Guest guest
Funny, my doctor and I were discussing the possibility of spinal stenosis today...that could be a possibility. I have shooting pains down my legs depending on how I sleep or sit. Standing, my feet get cold. And then after about ten minutes...they can go numb. Not all the time. He says in about six months that I should go for an MRI. Karin
Guest guest
There was an article/letter in the last FSMA newsletter about using a TENS unit for muscle contractures in the jaw. You might want to do a little research as it seemed to help that person quite a bit - making brushing, etc. easier. Guest guest
Oh Cinder, that would be scarey. But eventually it might help in the long run. Ya know, pain for the recuperating, but pain-free for the rest of your life. How is your Hubby doing? Is he " healing " any from his dads death? I thought of you a couple of weeks ago( ummm.. That didn't sound right. I actually think of you daily..) But hubby & I went to dinner with Becky & her Hubby. After dinner when we got up to leave , I stood up and Plop!! Fell back onto booth seat. That was the first time out in public that my legs gave out. Since then I have learned to stand slowly and be sure before moving. But mine is just weakness from tx. Today I had to have help getting up from chair at hosp. where I went to have labs done. Rest all you can... http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " " A well- behaved woman never made history " ...Mae West http://oktravels.wordpress.com http://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx
Guest guest
TrudyI still have to do just what you described!! I've learned not to move until I know that everything under me is ready to go. A booth - yup, that's definitely a fall and likely would need the husband to give me a tug. Well, guess he's not going to be giving me anymore tugs, so I'll just have to learn on my own.Gloria Oh Cinder, that would be scarey. But eventually it might help in the long run.
