Guest guest
Trudy... I had a really nasty fungal infection that started right after treatment started and continued on it's merry way right up until a few weeks after treatment ended. red, splotchy blistery like things.. had a real nasty smell to them too.. right out of the shower the skin would be real shiny where the rash was. Hurt like HELL. I finally found something, by accident, that worked. It was a cream for people with psoriasis. Prescription but it was great stuff. Actually, I still get it from time to time. It made wearing a bra very difficult because of where the rash was exactly.. but to show my docs, I'd flash them! But yep, I had something that sounds like what you are describing. It was only in the one place though.. under my boobs. I was suspect about it cause it is spreading . Dr thinks maybe something fungal? I know that I am seriously covered in large angry-red somethings. The itching is about to drive me batty. Many of these LARGE splotches are stinging a bit. Now I have learned my lesson; I totally do believe it's something caused by TX. Guest guest
TrudyBelieve it or not, if it is fungal - try a product for athlete's foot!!! Many many years back, I had something fungal on my chest and up one side of my neck. A dermatologist suggested using a dandruff shampoo. Well, I saw what doing that did to my first husband and I wasn't going near that stuff!!!!! Rips the first layer of skin right off your body.Anyway, I accidentally fell into a cure. Because my son was born with excema, I had a jar of cortisone cream on hand. One day I used it and the athlete's foot stuff and WHISH it was gone.Gloria Trudy... Guest guest
Hi Trudy, It's yeast. I got it too about halfway through treatment. I got it in my groin area, the creases of my upper thighs. It itches like crazy and hurts and smells terrible. I got a shampoo from the doc that doesn't work very well. I put vit E on thick and it helped but still hasn't gone away. I've been done with Tx for two months. Love, Debora in Michigan > > Well, it went very well at Drs today ( refer to my earlier post lol). > However, I don't have shingles. Guest guest
I don't know what it is, but colloidal silver applied to it dries it up for me in a day or so. You can buy colloidal silver in a health food store. Some people use it internally but I only use it externally. Colloidal silver looks just like water. Dr gave me ointment--made it worse. SuziQ > > May sound nasty but I get this under my breasts and I put yogurt w active cultures for my son has a feed tube and soca told me to do it around his tube when it got stinky which since open hole to stomach yeast builds up and cancause infection. It works. For times I can & #39;t use that over the counter calmoseptine cream also works great >
