Why fix something that doesn't seem to be broken??This group has 100% more caring, than the group that I initially started with. Often I would say, in that old group - why can't we just care for one another no matter how one contracted the disease. Well, this group does not even ask because we all know that nobody really knows for sure anyway. One of the fellas in that group once asked - did we think a commune for HepC people would work. He then when on to say that he highly doubted it; because, those that received the infection from blood supply would look down their noses at the ones that likely got it from IV Drug use. I hate to say; but, I think he was right on.That old group was probably set up for all the Canadians that joined the class action suit against the blood supply. Once their money was doled out - they all went away and are still not heard from. To this day, I still can not figure out how money is going to save our lives etc. Sure, we could all use more money; but, at the cost of caring about others?? Not even close in my books.
