Guest guest
Hi Marie Can I suggest something? If your - 'regular doc' is a GP - get a referal to see a Dermatologist, or better yet, a liver doc about your shingles. It may not be shingles, but rather 'Cryoglobulinemia', or some other skin condition brought on by the HCV TX. I was just talking with Trudy about this today too. HCV Treatment sometimes causes skin conditions that can be mistaken for something else....like shingles. Please look at these links to see if what you have looks like the pictures. http://www.corrdocs.org/resources/PDF%20CorrDocs%2012-2.pdf http://health.dir./group/ /links/011___HCV_and_SKIN_CONDITIONS_001255978081/ http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc7 & p=Cryoglobulinemia & type= http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc7 & p=cryoglobulinemia%20pictures & type= Marie, you wont end up on the street. You will get housing someplace, and you will get your SSI/SSDI [this just takes time]. Your on treatment, so they wont just put you out on the street. Perhaps your liver doc's office can call the shelter, and try to get you another extention since your on treatment. Just some ideas for you. Please try to stay stress free and relaxed if you can. We all love you and are blasting you with good stuff.
