got a GP Doctor

Hi,

have not posted in a while. Juts wanted to let you all know that I got a GP here

in Hawaii.

She seems pretty good in general doctor stuff,but knows nothing about Hep C or

the treatment, this is odd, right?

Also I will have to see a pain management specialist, which I think there goal

is to get me off pain killers, not sure what there plan is, but I did tell them

I am in a lot of pain daily, and I refuse to be in pain.

The part I did not like, I told them I used cole & sold it in my youth, but told

them I have not sold or touched coke since I was 21, but I am still labeled as a

drug addict and a drug dealer, they seemed concerned that I would try to sell

the pain meds, not sure if people do that, but I said I would not as I need

them.

I really hate the stereo types once a drug dude always a drug dude! I went to

jail in 1987, and when I came out I lived a clean life, drug wise anyway.

Again they asked me how I got Hep C, I told them only GOD knows for sure, but

they said you can get it from sex and snoring coke by sharing straws. I had to

explain, okay maybe possible, but I don't think so as HCV is transferred by

blood, point is no blood no transfer no HCV!

I was also told that Hep C is preventable, somebody needs to explain this one to

me.

All in all I did not leave feeling that great about the whole thing, and don't

believe there is any miracles out there, but I am willing to try and go into

this with an open mind. This is one of those " Intergraded Health " things, maybe

you heard about them combining medical with spitrual stuff.

I was told regardless what I think stage 4 HCV is serious and can increase to

higher stages if not careful. I thought if you were cool to your liver your

stage would not increase. This came after a talk about diet(I hate Nutrition so

much, the most aggravating conversion I could ever have, I hate it!)
